There is a new thing coming to Lebanon High School. The DECA Kickoff to the Holidays. This fun event will be an amazing way to kick-off the holiday season and, is scheduled for Sunday, December 5th, from 3-5pm. It is a variety show that is going to be showcasing a ton of different acts including 2 skits and 14 singing and dancing acts, and even a trapeze show by Taylor Moss.

“I’m super excited to attend the DECA kickoff to the Holidays,” said junior Evan Wright.

The DECA kickoff to the Holidays is going to be in replace of the usual Mr. LHS show and will be a new event for not just students and their families from Lebanon High School, but it’s for the community to bring more attention to DECA and how amazing it actually is.

“This event is a ton more sustainable than any of the fundraisers we have done in the past, so the DECA staff is super excited to be a part of planning and running this event.”

Lebanon DECA is an amazing program that allows students to be in business situations that prepares them for financial, marketing, hospitality and management problems they may face in their future jobs and some of the Students at LHS who partake in DECA are really good.

“We usually have 20 kids attending state and 5-9 going to internationals; and that is not cheap so this event is super important for DECA because it helps offset the costs of the experience for kids going to state and internationals,” said Mr. Joris.

The event will cost 10.00$ for everyone except children six and under.

There will be food at the event including all your holiday favorites! You’ll be able to eat your snacks in the auditorium, but mask will be strictly encouraged just like the Fall Sports Banquet.

This is replacing Mr. LHS and it will be a lot more enjoyable and overall a better time than the Mr. LHS show, so you should come and check it out.
