This school year, Lebanon High School introduces many new teachers to our students and staff. One of the new teachers is Ms. Jennifer Merritt!
Merritt teaches a variety of classes at LHS including introduction to Culinary, Interpersonal Relationships, and Culinary Arts and Hospitality Two.
When asked what brought her to teach at LHS, Merritt said, “It was close to my home and I go to church in Lebanon so I wanted to be more involved in the community here.”
Outside of teaching, Merritt is a pastry chef. She earned her Pastry Degree as well as a minor in culinary.
“I began school in elementary education, but switched to earn my Pastry Degree in order to teach at the high school level. I was able to combine two things I love with teaching and cooking,” said Merritt.
Merritt is delighted to be on the LHS teaching staff and we wish her all the best this school year!
