The accessory that stuck out the most was not any expensive name brand purse or the nice high heels. A lot of nominees wore a blue ribbon in honor of American Civil Liberties Union. They wore them to show others that they stand for this union. The union had a big hit of donations in January because of Trump’s travel ban.

One of the best speeches that happened throughout the night was Viola Davis. (Best Supporting Actress) Her speech was poetic, powerful, and even personal.

The “Best Song” nominee Lin- Manuel Miranda was promised on winning this award. He has an award from the Grammy’s, Emmy’s, and Tony’s, all he needed was this award so he would had coveted the EOGT. Viola Davis also made a step closer as well. She is the 23rd person that has won an Oscar, Emmy, and a Tony award together.
