What is your full name? Peter Hesselgrave

What are your future plans? What are you majoring in, if you are planning on attending a post-secondary school? Vincennes University, Double Majoring in Culinary Arts and Secondary Education.

What has made this year your best year? Being able to have a lot more freedom in my passions, and having fewer things I don’t want to do. I get to work in the cafeteria, which has been absolutely amazing, a great way to end my schooling here.

If you could give any advice to the underclassmen, what would you say? Don’t be dumb. Fulfill your obligations, and make sure to stay on top of things. If you can’t function while your hand is being held, you aren’t going to function when that hand lets go.

What class has been the most beneficial for you? Why? Business Law and Ethics have helped tons. I’ve learned a lot about our law system, as well as learning negotiation skills, insurance policies, and tons of criminal and civil court information that will be really helpful as an adult.

What is something interesting about you that most people wouldn’t know about you? I have sectoral heterochromia, which means my right iris has multiple colors, blue, brown, and hazel. It doesn’t really affect my vision, but it’s pretty cool.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully, I own my own house, and I’m at least starting to become a culinary teacher.
