Lebanon High School hosted their annual Junior prom on Saturday, April 23rd, at the 4-H fairgrounds, followed by post prom which was hosted at Lebanon High School from 11p.m. through 3a.m.

 

“I was really excited about by other nominees because it was like, probably the most diverse prom court we’ve had, well I’ve never been at prom before but it was very diverse and I liked all of them and was really happy,” said junior Jada Stitch

 

This year’s Junior prom court, starting with the boys, included; John Gascho, Cayman Huntsman, Alexander Emenhiser, Ronaldo Bernal-Sanchez, Kaden Burress, Sam Piper and Aiden Frost. The girls Included; Jada Stitch, Addison Lollar, Charli Albea, Flor Reyes, Johara El-Shahat, Aliyah Carlisle, and Mallory Kaylor.

 

Teachers nominated this year’s prom court and juniors got the opportunity to vote for their prom king and queen the week of prom. This year’s junior king and queen were Cayman Huntsman and Jada Stitch.

 

“I was shocked to win. It was a good first prom experience, it was not quite what I was expecting,” said junior Cayman Huntsman

 

Cayman celebrated with his friends by stopping by the gas station and getting a pina colada freeze and attending post prom afterwards. Jada Stitch celebrated by having a sleepover with her friends.

 

Junior Prom ended at ten-thirty p.m. and was followed by post prom at eleven. Post prom consisted of bouncy houses, games, henna tattoo, theater entertainment and free food. Students who won games got to put their names in a raffle to win prizes if they stayed till the end.

 

“I had a very good night. Wonderful confident but overall, I actually had a really good time,” said junior Jada Stitch
