Kanye Going Crazy – Editorial
October 20, 2022
Kanye West tweeted he was “Going to go death con 3 on Jewish people” and that “Black people can’t be antisemitic because they are jews” On October 10th. This for very clear reasons is extremely antisemitic despite Kanye West claiming that it isn’t and he received major backlash because of it. Because of this he was banned from using Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Kanye West also recently launched a “White lives matter” Clothing line recently that caused JPMorgan Chase to sever ties with his fashion brand Yeezy. Adidas is also putting their partnership on the line with the recent antisemitic remarks he has been making on social media. Gap has also completely terminated their relationship with Kanye West because of the clothing line and because of his tweet.
“Now it’s time for Ye to make the new industry. No more companies standing in between me and the audience,” said Kanye West.
He called wearing the white lives matters shirts as “a gut instinct, a connection to God and just brilliance.” While most people, including me, would call it insensitive and racist.
He was banned from using Instagram, twitter, and Facebook because of this campaign. He agreed to buy the social media app Parler which is a US right-wing conservative app. This app was removed from both the Apple app store and the Google app store following the capital riots because it’s users helped to instigate the riot. Parler was the only major social media app to not ban him because of its support for things like the white lives matter movement. This is why Kanye West has decided to buy the app.
“In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial, we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves,” said Kanye West.
After watching a George Floyd documentary by Candace Owens West said, “they hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that.” This caused for him to receive massive backlash for obvious reasons. According to the autopsy of George Floyd there is no doubt that his death was caused by “Cardiopulmonary arrest that occurred during law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.” So, from a factual standpoint Kanye West is simply wrong. Lee Merritt, a civil rights attorney, who has represented the Floyd family, tweeted that they are considering legal action against Kanye West.
“Claiming Floyd died from fentanyl and not the brutality established criminally and civilly undermines and diminishes the Floyd family’s fight,” said Merritt.
After recent events it appears to the general public that Kanye West has once and for all gone insane.
