The Swim and Dive team had a great weekend competing in the SAG Conference meet at Crawfordsville.  The girls team finished fourth in conference and the boys team finished in first place.

“The highlight of my season was going 48.13 in the 100 free,” said Grayson Goff.

Grayson Goff finished first in the 200 free as well as the 100 free. Grayson Goff along with Rylan Rule, Tate DeLaRosa, and Camden Perrine won the 200 free relay also.

“My favorite thing about the season so far was going to City Barbecue with the boys after the dub,” said senior Corbin Daisley.

The team went out to City Barbecue to celebrate their conference win and to appreciate the moment.

“I think that both the girls and the boys deserved the conference win with all of the hard work that they put in this season,” said Coach Howe.

The girls team finishing 4th was not the goal, but they still did a phenomenal job. You can see both teams hard work and dedication to the sport.

“The highlight of my season was senior night. It’s nice to be recognized by the team and see everyone happy,” said senior John Gascho.

Senior night took place last Thursday where the team faced North Montgomery. The boys’ team beat the Chargers 135-44 while the girls’ team falls 3 points short giving the Chargers the win 94-91.

“My highlight was bonding with the girls’ team, and getting my best time in backstroke,” said senior Cora Dial.

Cora got her best time of 1.03 at conference for backstroke. She placed third which is a big accomplishment. Cora has been working hard all season and being an amazing role model and leader as the only senior on the girls’ team.

“I am beyond proud of both teams this year, everyone has been working hard and trying their best,” said Coach Howe.
