Lebanon wrestling had sectionals the last weekend and was successful, many men got to move on and one of them got to capture 1st, Isaac Thompson was able to out wrestle everyone in his weight class and got the win.
“Yeah, I was happy about how I did this weekend, can’t complain about 1st.” said Sophomore Isaac Thompson.
Many other also felt like they did their job and proved a point, but they weren’t done there, they kept fighting, their next match they locked in and had a mindset.
“Our goal is to go in there, don’t be afraid to take shots but be smart. Win humbly, Lose Humbly”, said sophomore Garren Stokes.
They battled hard though, the Wrestling team really proved themselves this year and did a great job competing and accomplishing their goals. They had a fun time creating memories and friendships during the process.
“My favorite memory is just messing around with Niko” said Senior Vincent Laney
“I thought the freshman class last year really uplifted the team in winning conference, so I would say that’s the coolest memory.” Said sophomore Garren Stokes.
