This past Tuesday, the Lady Tigers basketball team had their first game of the season against Sheridan. After working all throughout the summer with summer workouts to fall training sessions, they have been grinding away to prepare for the start of their season. Although sometimes the nerves get the best of us, they still were excited and ready for their first game.
Head varsity coach, Aaron Vaughn, says he is excited to get out and play different people other than ourselves, to see where we need improvement. He also says it’s been a long time coming with all the work they’ve been putting in, “Excited is an understatement”. Vaughn says these group of girls are extremely coachable and although there will be bumps along the way especially with a new coaching staff, there will be great improvement year after year.
