The Lebanon High School spirit store has now been out of maintenance for quite some time, leaving many students and parents to wonder if the beloved store will ever make its return. The Pennant Staff is here to give you a definitive answer, but it’s a little more complicated than it seems.
It’s been several years since the physical Tiger Spirit Store has been open for business, the main reason being that almost everything is being sold online now on the official website. In an interview with athletic director Phil Levine, he explained how the system works now online, where he explained how, “Times have changed.”
To add onto the technological advances putting the spirit store out of business, there are two other main factors that prevent the store from opening, including the lack of space and maintenance. Maintenance-wise we lack the employment and supply required to consistently keep open. Levine went into great detail about how the school needs a business to purchase the attire that would be resold through the store. The new innovations coming to the high school are now what has taken the space that once held the store.
Evidence shows that the Lebanon Spirit store will not be returning anytime soon, but there’s always a chance of revival after the groundbreaking innovations coming to LHS. In the meantime, you can still visit the online store linked below to purchase your tiger merchandise.
