Every year Lebanon High School welcomes an exchange student, and this year we’re getting to know Mariona Generó.Mariona comes to us from Barcelona, Spain which is roughly an eight-hour plane ride.
While she has only been in Indiana for about a week, she is already enjoying her time. She said, “I love it. It’s so different from Barcelona”. In addition, she was asked what her favorite thing was about Indiana, and she immediately said “The food.”Her favorite food place to eat at as of now is Raising Canes!
While in Indiana, she is most looking forward to being in school. Her favorite classes this semester are culinary and Spanish because she already knows Spanish! Although they don’t have cheerleading in Barcelona, Mariona decided it would be something different to participate in cheerleading. She said,“It’s my first time doing it.”
