The 2025 Homecoming week started off strong with the annual 499+1 trike race on Monday. The race consisted of four rounds with stock trikes, modified, drifters, and low riders. The seniors came out on top as the trike race champs. At 6pm in community room 1 student council member Lizzie Hefner hosted trivia night, with the Z club team coming through with a win.
Tuesday’s dress up day was country vs. country club. Students from the high school, middle school, and the elementary schools showed up in their best country and country club wear. The FFA middle school showed out with a Photo Booth display in one of their hallways.
On Wednesdays we wear pink! Wednesday’s dress up days was Barbie and Ken throughout the schools. Teachers out shined the students with their Barbie and Ken outfits with highlights of the day being from Mr. Ferrel, Mr. Joris, and Mrs. Brooke.
Thursday’s dress up day was tacky tourist. All schools in the school corporation took part in this dress up day. Many students were spotted rocking Hawaiian shirts and the ‘dad on vacation’ look.
FNL, Friday night lights, hoco game. Tensions were high when going into the homecoming game against McCutcheon. The score was close but, ended with our tigers winning 33-27. During halftime, the homecoming court paraded onto the field, which consisted of: Maddie Welty, Averie Lollar, Lizzie Hefner, Callie Bruner, Caroline Burkeybyle, Soteria Udu, Arsene Mpanda, Curtis Hicks, Joshua Parks, Jacob Jones, Niko Trepcos, and Xaviour Bryant. Homecoming Queen went to Averie Loller and Homecoming king went to Xaviour Bryant.
