The Lebanon Girls Golf team closed out their 2025 season with a 9–16 record, highlighted by a commendable showing at the sectional tournament where they placed sixth in a highly competitive field. The Tigers faced tough opponents throughout the entire season, but still managed to maintain a positive attitude and formidable team chemistry from start to finish.
Lexi Mitchell, a steady leader for the Tigers, capped her senior season with an impressive regional appearance that reflected years of hard work and dedication. Her leadership and calm presence on the course were key to guiding younger teammates through challenging matches and competitive tournaments.
Reflecting on the season, Mitchell expressed pride in her teammates and the growth they shared. “I’m so proud of how far we came this year,” she said. “Everyone worked hard and supported each other. Even when things did not go our way, we never gave up. It was a good way to finish my senior season.”
With Mitchell setting the tone for excellence, Lebanon’s returning golfers are eager to build on this year’s experience and continue raising the bar in 2026
