Here at Lebanon High School we have many fall sports and a lot of great athletes who are involved in them. The fall sports banquet that was held on Monday November 9th, gives recognition to some of the athletes who have improved, had good sportsmanship, had good grades while being in their sport, who was the most valuable, or who was the best at a specific skill.
Although it was a little different this year because of covid, it was still a great night. In a normal year’s banquet, all the sports teams would sit together in the front of auditorium, while parents sat in the back part of it. This year each team had to sit a chair away from their teammates and rows away from other teams. Parents were also not allowed to attend the banquet this year, but it was broadcasted live on YouTube so they could still watch.
Overall, everyone is just thankful that they got to dress up and attend it in person with their teams since last year the winter sports banquet had to be recorded and sent for everyone to watch at home due to covid.
