Get Mooned in Boone: Recap!

Get+Mooned+in+Boone%3A+Recap%21

Over the past weekend, the City of Lebanon hosted “Mooned In Boone.” The solar eclipse happened all over Indiana, but the totality occurred right over Lebanon, Indiana. Several businesses throughout the city celebrated the solar eclipse in their unique way.

One local business in Lebanon that stood out over the weekend was our very own Titus Bakery. Titus celebrated the eclipse by creating fun donuts and cookies. These treats were decorated to resemble the eclipse by featuring the sun and the moon. Titus was a big hit over the weekend and had lots of shoppers from all over the country.

“It was crazy busy here,” said Sherri Kincaid, Titus Bakery worker.

Another local business that celebrated the eclipse was Klooz Brewz. This restaurant played movies inside and had a beer tent on the square. Klooz Brewz workers stated that they had good business over the weekend with a lot of customers from out of town.

“It was a madhouse,” said Klooz Brewz staff.

All in all, Lebanon had a very successful weekend. With a very engaged community, Lebanon attracted people from 20 different states, and countries as far away as Australia! The next total solar eclipse that will be over Indiana will be in 100 years. See you in 2124!
