At LHS we have several new staff members here at LHS this year, including our brand-new school resource officer Rob Hawkins.
He has many hobbies most of which include him having 3 grandkids and he has a Harley motorcycle. Also, he coaches the middle school football team so he isn’t new to the Lebanon community.
Rob isn’t new to the job of being a SRO either, he previously worked at the Harney elementary school, he said, “I couldn’t really communicate with the kids like I can with highschoolers.” Also, he worked as a state officer for 34 years so, he has plenty of experience for the job.
“I love working and communicating with kids especially high school students”, Hawkins says.
He wants to keep everyone safe in the school and plans to build relationships with every student he possibly can.
