Kelly Dennis New Work Based Learning Admin!

There have been lots of recent changes in the Lebanon High School teaching staff. One of our favorites has taken on a new position this year. Welcome Kelly Dennis to her new role as Work Based Learning and Cadet Teaching administrator.

When asked how she is liking her new role this school year, Dennis said,”So far it has been awesome! The impact that internships can have on a student’s future is undeniable.”

Internships help students gain real life experiences and have a chance to explore future career options. Dennis has loved being a part of the Lebanon High School community and says the people and community are very welcoming.

“Through my work with Work-Based Learning, I’ve also had the opportunity to get to know many wonderful people in the community. I’ve always had a passion for helping students try to figure out what they want to do after graduation.” Dennis said.

Dennis has been a classroom teacher for 15 years.  “I was ready to take on a new challenge in my career.  I do teach a few classes here, so I am still able to connect with students in a classroom setting.” Dennis said.

Dennis is excited about her future in the work based learning program and is ready for the future. “I believe that this is an avenue that will allow me to continue to have those meaningful conversations with LHS students.” said Dennis.
