Water Wars is an exciting and thrilling water gun battle that’s between the juniors and seniors in a fierce but fun competition. This high-energy event allows students to team up with friends, strategize, and bring out their competitive sides in a water fight. Whether you have done Water Wars before or you are a first-time player, the goal is to simply stay in the game, be the last team standing, and most importantly, have fun!
To ensure a fair and safe game, there are certain rules regarding where and when you can’t engage in water gun battles. You cannot be shot while on Lebanon School grounds, as this event is not affiliated with LHS. Additionally, there are specific situations and locations where water gun fights are off-limits:
- During senior lunch – no shooting during this time.
- While actively participating in a travel sport – focus on your game or team.
- While working or interning – your job comes first!
- Inside any businesses – avoid disrupting businesses and their customers.
- In your own home – your house is a safe zone.
- On church grounds – respect places of worship.
- During prom weekend – we want everyone to enjoy prom without distractions.
- In or from cars – no shooting inside vehicles or shooting at others from inside a car.
The event kicks off on Monday, April 7th, and will run until Friday, May 30th. Each week, on Sunday, you’ll receive the name of a new team to target. Your mission is to eliminate that team by the end of the week. To eliminate a team, both members must be “shot” with a water gun. If you manage to get both teammates, they are completely out of the game.
However, if only one member of the target team gets soaked, they will be out for the rest of the week, but the other teammate remains in the game and can still be targeted in the future.
As long as both members of your team are not eliminated in the same week, you’re safe. The key is to stay sneaky, work as a team, and strategize carefully. Keep your eyes peeled, because one wrong move could put you in the line of fire! Only the most strategic teams will make it to the end, so get ready for some intense water battles and fierce competition.
