2026 Lebanon & Webo Senior Art Show

We have exceptionally good new for individuals interested in art and and waning to visit an art show! Ms. Trafford is one of the teachers who help organize the art show while collaborating with teachers and seniors from Western Boone High school. What she describes the art show as being is “an opportunity for seniors to display their artwork in a professional gallery.” The art show is going to be held at Sugar Creek Art Center on Thursday May 7, 2026 from the times of 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm! This is an achievement for senior students who have taken multiple art classes and achieved a grade of a b-minus or higher. These students are able to showcase 3 to 5 of their favorite art pieces which include, painting, digital design, photography, and or sculptures. While interviewing Island Fasel about what she plans to display at the art show she said, “I’m displaying acrylic on canvas in a collage.” She describes her art from being from the past 3 years of her high school career. Next, Vanessa Alfonzo Nougues was interviewed she described her artwork as “I have some collages, paintings, and sculptures and my artwork is abstract.” Jakob Gulley is another senior highlighted in this year’s art show. His artwork is “Digital art and then stuff from my drawing class.” Jakob is going to be having 5 art pieces in the show! A lot of Jakob’s inspiration comes from freestyle! These seniors would love for you to come and see their hard work pay off!
