November is a big month for cinema lovers everywhere, with a wide range of sequels and standalones from every genre. This is a comprehensive guide for anyone who wants to plan their movie watching this month!
The first movie you should be anticipating is Predator: Badlands, which is set to release November 7th. This is a horror/scifi movie, centering around an alien hunter (Elle Fanning) who embarks on a treacherous journey with an unlikely ally in search for the ultimate adversary. A second film releasing November 7th is a biopic entitled Christy, about pro female boxer Christy Martin. Sydney Sweeney will be starring. The final movie coming out November 7th is Die My Love, which is a comedy thriller movie starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. It centers around a young mother, Grace, who is spiraling into postpartum psychosis, leaving her companion, Jackson, confused and helpless.
The following week, on November 14th, four more films are set to come into theaters. The first is Running Man, an adventure film starring Glen Powell. It takes place in a dystopian world in which those convicted of crimes have to fight for their lives on a deadly game show. The next film is Now You See Me: Now You Don’t which is a crime/thriller movie about a group of illusionists attempting to take down a criminal network, featuring Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, and Morgan Freeman. Next up is Keeper, a horror movie starring Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland, about a woman who becomes isolated in a cabin and must fend off evil. Another horror movie releasing the same day is The Carpenters Son, which is a biblical horror portraying Nicolas Cage as Jesus who is hiding in Egypt and being targeted by supernatural forces.
Another week after that, November 21st, will have the release of Wicked: For Good, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. It follows the wicked witch of the West, Elpheba, and Glinda the Good as their friendship evolves and spans the rift between them. On the same day, the drama/romance film Blue Eyed Girl is releasing, starring Eliza Coupe, Beau Bridges, and Freddy Rodriguez. It features a failing actress who returns home to care for her father, gets drawn into a dysfunctional relationship with her sisters, and is tempted by her first love.
As the final weekend for November movies, November 26th will see the release of Zootopia Two and Eternity. Zootopia Two is a family animated movie following Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) as they chase a mysterious reptile who threatens the mammal metropolis of Zootopia. The other movie on the 26th, Eternity, is a romcom starring Miles Teller and Elizabeth Olsen about a recently deceased woman, Joan, in an afterlife in which you can choose who you spend eternity with. Joan is forced to decide between the man she spent most of her life with, and her first love who died young and has been waiting for her.
