Welcome Miss Stevens

LHS newest Social Studies teacher is a similar face around Lebanon High School (LHS). Miss Amanda Stevens is a 2010 LHS graduate. She described herself as a quiet, shy student. One teacher she remembers when she was a student was Mrs. Becker saying, “Mrs. Becker was able to get me out of my shell.

Stevens is a big fan of LHS and is really glad she got the opportunity to teach here. Her favorite tradition about LHS is homecoming. Rather it being the dance, the trike race, or even the float, she enjoyed it all.

“From seeing all of the activities from the student side was cool and I’m excited to see how it is from the teachers view. How much hard work and effort goes into all of it.”

Despite Stevens being a Social Studies teacher, her hobbies relate more towards the English side. One of Stevens favorite hobbies is reading. She will read about anything.

An interesting hobby she has is listening to crime podcasts. “I like to walk around the park a lot, listening to crime podcast, not sure if that’s really a hobby”

Were excited to welcome a new teacher to LHS Miss. Stevens and wish nothing but the best for her.
