Lebanon High School Senior Jose Juarez has started up a company in September, Juarez Exterior’s. Juarez runs this company with Senior friend and classmate Chris Hernandez.

According to the company Instagram page, @juarez_exterior, Juarez Exterior’s offers Soft/Power Washing, Landscaping, Window Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning, and Seasonal Services. Along with free estimates that you can get by reaching out to (765) –  894 – 3622.

Juarez said he started this up because in the summer he was working with his mom doing similar jobs and made $800 in one day. And he knew there was more money involved for him if he did his own thing. “Now working for myself I am making 10x what I was making compared to when I was working for someone else,” said Juarez.

In October they got their most expensive job yet, saying “I got a landscaping job for $1300 in October and it was like wow this could be a career for me.” And he isn’t wrong he seems to be doing pretty well.

I then asked Juarez what the most he made in a month was. He said “Last month (October) was my biggest month so far and its only growing. I made like $4,000 but I had $1k in expenses. So, the profit was $3,000… I also made another $1k in the first 10 days of November.” This is double the average earnings of a high school student in Indiana according to ziprecruiter.com.

And the two aren’t working a ton of hours. Juarez said “Right now its spotty. We have roughly 3 jobs a week. We’re only working on the weekends.”

Juarez and Hernandez are splitting the profit. This is due to Hernandez’s work with marketing via social media. The two plan to begin using the ad tools on Facebook, Instagram, and Google to grow the company soon. “I advertise through social media and door knocking, door knocking is the most successful. Here soon we are going to start paying for ads,” said Juarez.

Juarez and Hernandez have done some work for a teacher in the building, Mrs. Coddington. Juarez said, “We power washed the back of her house and the back patio for her.” Juarez said he hopes doing stuff like this for staff members in the building helps with some word-of-mouth advertising.

Juarez and Hernandez also launched their website on Friday. Check it out here juarezexteriors.com.
