Coach Yoder is one of many new coaches to join the Lebanon coaching staff for this fall season. Yoder has come in to take the role as the varsity defensive coordinator for the Tigers’ football team. Yoder has built quite the reputation as a coach in the last 15 years, coaching 4 other schools. These included Bluffton, Muncie South, Brownsburg, and Evansville Wright, where he won a state championship. Yoder brings a bright future to Lebanon football, with goals of winning Conference and a Sectional this year.
When he was asked about how he wanted to impact Lebanon football, he said, “I want to bring a new mindset to this team; in the weight room and on the field. Not only that, but I want to leave my mark on more than just football, but on every sport here.”
Although this is Yoders first year of coaching the high school football team, it is not his first year at LHS. He started teaching here at the end of last year. He has been teaching several engineering classes and also helps with weights classes too. When Yoder was asked about how he likes the environment of Lebanon, he said:
“There’s good folks here, it’s a good town to be a part of.”
