The 2025 National FFA convention was held in the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium from October 29 to November 1. Chapters from all states including Puerto Rico, come to Indianapolis for the convention every year. The convention averages 70,000 students but this years attracted 73,000 members. This year 33 members from Lebanon High School attended the convention.
Student, Ayden Butler, said that his favorite thing about the convention was exploring different careers and the keynote speaker that stood out to him the most was the US secretary of agriculture Brooke Rollins.
Attendees can participate various activities during the convention. Award ceremonies honor achievements attendees have accomplished throughout the year like the American Star Awards, Proficiency Awards, and the American FFA Degree.
Workshops for U.S. on leadership, personal growth, and career successes. They cover different topics such as mental health, service project planning, mentorship, business skills, and advocacy.
Even if students that are apart of FFA and attend the convention do not plan to continue their future in a field of agriculture, the convention serves as a career fair and self growth opportunities
